Rodney choked on his coffee as John held up the new piece of decor for him to see.
“That’s awful. Where’d you find it?”
“Lorne picked it up at a thrift store. It reminded him of you.”
It was a generic, feel-good framed poster you could find in any big-box store. This one read, “This house runs on Love & Coffee.” It had a steaming coffee cup with a heart on it.
Rodney shook his head. “We are not hanging that up.”
John smirked. “C’mon. People will think it’s funny.”
“No,” Rodney huffed, “You’ll think it’s funny.”
“You’re right, I will.”
